Congresswoman admits ObamaCare includes funded abortions

Representative, congresswoman Zoe Lofgren picture

For those that are still believing the propaganda out there about these proposed health care bills not including elective abortion, here is yet more evidence to the contrary (in a video below).

This is the most pro-abortion president in history. Anyone who thinks he is not working hard to get abortion covered in these bills is living on another planet. I think I might move there with you.

Picked this video up off of American Papist this morning:

Matt – yes this is true in the UK, too. Abortions, morning-after pill, (limited attempts at) IVF and Donor Insemination are all available out of my tax pounds. I still claim universal healthcare is a win, despite this. But we’ll agree to differ. :-)

Well, we can all agree to differ; but, that should not require that I pay for things that are morally wrong. I pay taxes. Taxes should not cover abortions, morning after pills, IVF or Donor Insemination. Unfortunately, we cannot just pass laws and say that everyone must agree to disagree and think we can walk away with a resolved issue. This is a matter of life and death. You may see universal healthcare as a win; but do those aborted babies feel the same? How about the doctors and nurses who are forced to perform the abortions against their consciences? What about the elderly or disabled and that are directed towards euthenasia?

Sorry, but I cannot just “agree to differ” when lives are in the balance.

I agree Jill, it is sad that people talk about Christian values, but at the same time eschew them by saying the Health Care reform is worth it even if it is funding abortions. Another thing that bothers me is that people are treating this health care reform as if this is our only option. Health care used to be primarily about providing care, not providing death to the unborn.

Planned Parenthood has been talking very close with the Obama administration to make sure they are included in this “health” care reform.

In short I would like to see a truly universal health policy with respect for human life and dignity, only then will it be win.

A friend of mine sent me a most disturbing article.

The extremely liberal (and very Obama supporting) online magazine, The Huffington Post, has a new idea:

Essentially, they say: If we’re going to kill babies during abortions — why not take their organs in the process?

As my friend put it, “Seriously, it’s worse than something you’d read in a Stephen King novel.”
