What a wonderful quote. I had not read that one before, but it makes a lot of sense. Our family provides us with our first impression of LOVE. When we have a positive experience within our family, it is easier to understand God’s love and turn that outward to others. But if our family teaches us bitterness and hate, then we will struggle with God’s love and loving others.
When I became a parent, I finally began to better understand God’s love for us.
So simple and so true; a healthy family gives good people, and good people make good societies, they build good nations… and slowly we move to a better world. At least in theory :)
