“I think the world today is upside down. Everybody seems to be in such a terrible rush, anxious for greater development and greater riches and so on. There is much suffering because there is so very little love in homes and in family life. We have no time for our children, we have no time for each other; there is no time to enjoy each other. In the home begins the disruption of the peace of the world.” – Mother Teresa
So many in our world look to technology, medicine, science, and possessions to solve all of our problems and ease all of our suffering. This is where they search for peace and everlasting life.
All the while our families are breaking apart, we are destroying our children, and we are forgetting to love one another. And we wonder why we still suffer? The world is indeed upside down.

I agree! Love the quote and nice statement by you.
dear kathy
the world is not upside down ,sorry mother terresa we are the world we can make it upside down or we can make it a better world, the life is changing ,it is a fact ,not all the people are upside down ,mother terresa you are like all the romantic people, try to be realistic and you will see the facts around you.
to change is to do things not to say things
it is hard to do but easy to talk.
mother teressa do something please if you can.

Matthew you are so right. It’s a problem that is very hard to remedy when people are so wrapped up in themselves.
Right on the button as always Matt . It’s a brave person who cuts their own track.
Thanks, Matt. The words of Mother Teresa are always relevant and powerful and very often what we don’t want to hear. If we do not tend our own garden how can we expect to work in the fields of the Lord?
You have a very cool website. I love quotes too especially thosae that promote peace and love to the world.
