Peter Kreeft said in response to the question as to whether animals have souls, “Have you looked deeply into your dog’s eyes?”

You know, I have, and I see love in there. Yet, when I look into a cat’s eyes, I don’t. I see self centeredness, indifference and sometimes contempt. I think cat’s are possessed–just saying.

Wow, we’ve NEVER had a cat get THAT stressed out, even our ferals! What were they doing filming *outside* (and with a flimsy cardboard carrier, to boot)?? Maybe something happening off-camera (like the appearance of a large dog) scared him? It’s obvious he was feeling nervous and wanting to get away before jumping out of the AC officer’s arms. They should’ve either changed location or postponed filming for another day.

As L.M. Montgomery would say, one must respect the spiritedness, knowing how to talk to him, and as T.S. Eliot would say, a cat is *not* a dog (though I adore both creatures). LOL, Pope Benedict would probably love this video!

Not me, Tim, I think Pinky is a stinker. I’ve been scratched up and bitten by my cat when she was scared of a stranger-I had bandages up and down my right arm for weeks. Just glad she didn’t go for my eyes!
You know, I’ve yet to hear of a “cat-whisperer”. I think those felines would just sit there, laugh and think; “yeah right, in your dreams, fella”.

Bad kitty! Poor man! Know from experience in trying to calm down a scared cat as to how cut up a person can get from their claws. Still have scars.
