Recall that George Bush led us (by deception) into an unjust war according to the Catechism and both Holy Fathers. Even if the prize was premature how can that be bad for any American? Like John McCain said, all it does is raises the expectations the world has on Obama. Maybe now he'll be more aggressive in pursuing world peace (not the Bush (non-Christian) form of aggression). President Obama has done more for world peace in 10 months than his predecessor George Bush ever did. "Again the devil took him up into a very high mountain, and shewed him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them, and said to him: All these will I give thee, if falling down thou wilt adore me. Then Jesus saith to him: Begone, Satan: for it is written, The Lord thy God shalt thou adore, and him only shalt thou serve." (Matthew 4: 8-10; Douay-Rheims Bible) Apparently the president so much wants to be a part of the "world," (Notice he always calls himself a 'citizen of the world') that he forgets his most important obligation which is glorify the Lord.
