It is good to be reminded that, unfortunately, most politicians – while they seem like nice, honest people – are actually big fat two-faced lying hypocrites. And I mean that in a nice way. But this is ridiculous. And it happens too much on both sides of the aisle.
For a little context (if you’re not up on current politics), the Democrats have been threatening for the past year now to use the “nuclear option” (reconciliation) in the Senate to pass their health care legislation. Here’s a little not-so-ancient history for you regarding what they thought when the shoe was on the other foot:
Wow. Yes, senator. I still take you seriously.

Perhaps you need to consider the words you use. I’m convinced it is not appropriate for a site that glorifies Jesus.

Thanks for sharing this Matt. The hypocrisy of many our elected officials is truly astounding. We need to continue to pray for our country and elected leaders to look to God for wisdom and guidance so we can conform our laws to His laws.
