Hey, did you get reinstated? I was disabled this morning for no apparent reason and am jumping through hoops, but no reply from FB…..please advise.

Stacy – I didn’t hear of anyone in the group getting a response. So officially, I don’t think the group helped. It may have helped unofficially though – there’s really no way to tell. I don’t think it hurt though!

And I think as long as you are respectful about it, I don’t see why anyone would get in trouble or labeled as dissidents.

Most of all, be persistent(but not annoying) and be patient. I wouldn’t be surprised if it takes a month or more to get your account back. But maybe not at all. The only experience I have is with my own account.

I just happened upon your blog tonight while researching how to get my Facebook account reinstated after it was disabled in much the same way yours was (no warnings, etc.). I feel like I’m beating my head against the wall and it’s only been two days!

Did you or your friends get any response from the “Bring Back Matt Warner” page? My friends offered to do the same thing, but I would hate for them to be flagged as FB dissidents for supporting someone that the bots have deemed unworthy.

What address did you email at facebook?

I know some people got that same automated response when sending to disabled@facebook.com . I think others had more success with appeals@facebook.com .

OK, I sent Facebook an email asking them to reinstate your account. I got this kindv loony response from them — clearly something is not right in Facebook Land. No comments follow their response — none is really needed.
