While I suppose, it may be possible that a person purporting to be pro-life loves the child/hates the mother, I've never met one. It would be a twisted way to view the world, indeed. They wouldn't really be pro-LIFE then, would they? He doesn't say it, but I think the reverse may be extended to the "choicers": hate the child means hate the mother; kill the child means spiritually, and occasionally physically, kill the mother.
