ALERT: This Poll is Under Attack (LOL)

USCatholic.org is doing a poll on what readers think about the apostolic visitation of women religious in the US (i.e. The Vatican checking in). There have been reports of Fr. Z attacking this poll with his blog. And by attacking it I mean encouraging people to vote in it.

Fr. Z:  “Apparently some people’s votes count more than others.  A reader posted in a comment below that there is a note on US Catholic under the poll that the poll is now “under attack” because I posted about it here!”

The comment on the poll from USCatholic.org:

Please be aware that John Zuhlsdorf at wdtprs.com has alerted his site’s followers to the presence of this poll. This normally means that the poll is about to be bombarded by traditionalists.

I thought you would like to be aware.”

Yeah, thanks for the heads-up!

[Here for the gory details of this brutal attack by Fr. Z]  (<-that’s sarcasm by the way)

The Traditionalists are coming!  The Traditionalists are coming!

This sort of thing truly warms the cockles of my heart.

You mean orthodox Catholics. Don’t you know that heterodox polls are for heterodox Catholics only? How else can they feel as though they have a majority of folks on their side?

Such polls are completely unscientific anyway. Do they believe their usual readers constitute a scientifically selected sample?

Opps! I did click twice. Now I’m sorry that I wasn’t chanting, “the tradies are coming. the tradies are coming”, as I did it. ;-)
