Actually Seth, misinformation and outright lies still abound around this subject. I see it all the time; it pervades the culture.

Why is this considered pro-life? Would a TV show on Discovery Health that shows the development of a fetus also be considered pro-life? Most if not all people know they are killing a living thing, they just don’t care.

Um, yeah, a little weird to have the app on display in front of her belly at the bar, but a wonderful thing from Pampers.

Churchmouse – YES – the Folgers ad is great…the girl actually goes home and isn’t already living with her fiance, plus he apparently asked the Dad for her hand in marriage!

>"I’m not sure if she is reminding every one at the bar of the consequences of sex, trying to fend off any potential suitors, or promoting the dignity of the human person in the womb. Either way, it’s probably a good message."

Perhaps cautioning against mixing pregnancy and drinking? But a bar might not be the best place to test one's personal resistance to the "high" alcohol falsely promises, especially if one is used to indulging in recreational intoxication.

On the broader theme of Christian and traditional family values, has anyone noticed where in the Folgers' coffee commercial they're (however subtly) promoting a crucial component of courtship? - http://www.tvsquad.com/2010/03/30/2010-folgers-ad-sounds-like-it-was-made-in-1962/ This one not unexpectedly has drawn a lot of negative comments from liberals and feminists; but it was wonderful to see on mainstream network television. :)

I wouldn't so much call it pro-life as someone who would use this app has probably committed to having the baby.
